On 24 May 2017, representatives of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań and of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security conducted preventive classes at the elementary school in Jeziorki, whose subject was cyber threats and cyber violence. The event was organized thanks to the cooperation taking place as a part of the Threats observatory for young people.
An element of the preventive action was the contest for pupils, tilted “Cyber violence prevention.” Pupils in grades 4-6 prepared short video materials or multimedia presentation on the topic of cyber threats and cyber violence.
The winners of the contest were:
1st place: Oliwia Michalak, for her professional film showing the consequences of not logging out of social media websites;
2nd place: Aleksandra Pietrzykowska, for her film on the problem of phishing;
3rd place: Aleksandra and Mikołaj Pawicki, for their film on the problem of sharing private information/photos with strangers on the Internet.
